The Role
As a Parts Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the reconditioning and testing of hydraulic units and components. You will work to high technical and quality standards, supporting internal customers and contributing to the development of new products and processes.
This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who takes pride in precision, quality, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild, and test hydraulic components in line with workshop manuals and company procedures
- Recondition and test units to a high standard suitable for sale
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and a clean, safe working environment
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required
- Assist with research and development of new products and processes
- Accurately complete job cards, timesheets, and related documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and PPE requirements
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as instructed by your line manager
Key Objectives
- Produce high-quality parts for sale, meeting company and safety standards
- Complete work within specified company book times where applicable
- Contribute to expanding the Technical Services Department’s product range
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard of safety and cleanliness
Essential Requirements
- Relevant automotive/engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI, or equivalent)
- High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions (full training will be provided)
- Confidence working to high standards
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with prestige or luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, or similar)
- Background in unit/parts assembly or sub assembly, refurbishment, reconditioning, or remanufacturing
- Knowledge of classic or older vehicles
- Personal hand tool selection kit, metric & Imperial.

Pay: £29,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
