We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering prescription medications and healthcare products to customers in a timely and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills and strong customer service abilities. Responsibilities
- Safely deliver pharmacy orders to customers’ homes.
- Follow designated routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Comply with all safety protocols related to heavy lifting and handling pharmaceutical products.
- Must have access to own vehicle and ensure that it is insured correctly and meets all legal requirements.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items safely.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques for efficient deliveries across designated areas.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of vital medications while providing exceptional customer service in a professional environment.
