Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver the Richmond area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while collecting waste from various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, compliance to safety practices.
Monday to Friday, 06:00AM -14:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
- Complete relevant paperwork in real time
- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
What you'll need to succeed?
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
- Driver CPC
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to undertake tasks
- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff
