Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise administrative skills within a multidisaplinary orthodonitc team.
Duties
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
- Answer incoming phone calls, screen enquiries, and transfer calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using organisational tools.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable.
- Maintain and update records, files, and databases with attention to detail.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and ordering office supplies.
- Support other administrative staff with various clerical duties as required.
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and data entry systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good typing speed and accuracy are essential.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Previous dental experience preferably, but full training will be given
