A secondary school in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Humanities Teacher to deliver lessons across the Humanities curriculum. This role is ideal for a confident teacher who can teach a range of subjects including Geography, History, and RE while maintaining high expectations and strong classroom engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach subjects including Geography, History, and RE
- Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
- Support pupil progress and wider department development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects within secondary education
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Desirable
- Experience teaching Geography, History, and RE
- Flexible and adaptable teaching approach
- Ability to contribute positively to department planning and development
