Job Overview
We are looking for someone to join our team on a temporary basis as a Vehicle Valeter to handle all vehicle cleaning on site, including some detailing tasks such as basic polishing and decontamination washes.
Job Description & Duties
- Preparing vehicles for handovers, photography, and general upkeep
- Completing deep cleans on new stock and handover vehicles
- Carrying out wet and dry vacuum cleaning
- Performing three-stage machine polishing
- Carrying out steam cleaning
- Ensuring all showroom and forecourt vehicles are regularly cleaned
- Reporting to the Stock Co-Ordinator or General Manager for daily schedules
- Conducting daily on-site walkarounds to identify vehicles requiring refresh cleans
- Washing all vehicles efficiently and within strict timeframes
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of English required (English does not need to be your first language)
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of car washing and valeting techniques
- Ability to work independently within strict timeframes
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Information
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (including 1 hour paid lunch)
- Position Type: Temporary Contract
- Location: One site only
- Driving licence and right-to-work checks will be carried out upon selection
- Salary will be paid on the last working day of each month via BACS (a UK bank account will be required)
