Customer Service Assistant
About the Role:
SSP Direct Ltd are a one stop shop for security, safety and signs products. We pride ourselves on ‘putting the customer at the heart of everything we do’ and always aim to exceed our customers expectations. We have a vacancy become available to join our team at our head office in Edgworth. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate, who wants to work in a busy and varied role, providing excellent customer service and be part of a great, friendly team.
Key responsibilities:
Processing customer orders over the phone and online
Customer service: helping customers chose the correct products and dealing with general enquiries online and over the phone
Assisting with customer quotations
Resolving courrier issues
Ensuring orders flow through the system in an efficient manner
Online chat
What we need from you:
Excellent customer service skills, with a can-do attitude, enthusiastic, friendly and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations.
Good written skills to communicate professionally and effectively with suppliers and customers.
English and maths GCSE above a C / 7
Some experience with sage would be a benefit
Highly organised and methodical to manage workload in a timely and effective manner.
Team player, both in work ethic and just as importantly bringing a positive attitude that contributes to a nice working environment for the whole team.
Willingness to learn and take advantage of the training provided.
Opening hours
Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm
Friday 9am - 4pm
A later start could be considered to accommodate a school drop off if required. May also consider a job share.
