Job Summary
Joinery firm requires an occasional van driver for multi-drop deliveries to London.
- Long wheelbase van driving
- 1–2 days per week (as required)

Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimise fuel consumption
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, clients, and team members regarding delivery statuses or any delays
- Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies during driving operations
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with delivery driver experience
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Ability to operate safely under pressure and manage time effectively
- Good organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
