Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and professional Lift Operator to work on a busy construction site. The role involves operating the site contractor goods lift, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of contractors, materials, and equipment between floors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stand in the site goods lift to transport workers and materials safely.
- Ensure all lift operations comply with site safety procedures.
- Check that the lift is in safe working order at all times, reporting any faults immediately.
- Maintain clear communication with site management and contractors.
- Ensure that only authorised personnel use the lift.
- Keep the lift area clean, tidy, and free from obstructions.
- Assist in general site duties when required.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
- Must be punctual, professional, and well-presented.
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow safety instructions.
- Must remain alert and attentive — no use of mobile phones during work hours.
