Are you an experienced Service or Aftermarket Manager looking for your next challenge within the construction equipment industry?
My client a large Plant Hire company is looking for a strong people manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.
Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Field & Workshop Engineers plus Workshop Foremen
- Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits
- Drive service revenue, parts sales, and service contracts
- Ensure excellent customer service and minimise machine downtime
- Oversee depot standards, compliance, and Health & Safety
- Support operational performance across multiple depots
What We’re Looking For in the Service Manager:
- Previous experience within plant, construction equipment, commercial vehicles, or engineering sectors
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to drive performance
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence
