We're looking for a Junior Operations Manager to join our operations team in Glasgow. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, optimise processes, and support team delivery across key functions. This is a hands-on role where you'll develop core operations management skills while driving efficiency and making a measurable impact.
About the Role
You'll take responsibility for operational delivery across your area, working to improve processes, maintain quality standards, and support your team to perform at their best. Your focus will be on balancing day-to-day operational needs with identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities and workflow management
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Manage schedules, resources, and workload allocation across the team
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate operational records and reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth business operations
- Support staff with queries and problem-solving; escalate issues as needed
- Prepare operational reports and present findings to management
- Contribute to team meetings and share best practices
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
- Track KPIs and performance metrics against targets
