Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Leather Craftsperson to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with some assembly tasks and focusing on stitching of belts and bags. We are looking for a proactive attitude and someone who wants to be proud of what they produce.
Full training will provided on all aspects. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are the person people go to for DIY, fixing machines or have a passion for crafting - this could be the ideal role for you.
Duties
- Buckling and stitching belts and handbags on 3 different industrial sewing machines - some of which are programmed and automatic.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow throughout the production line.
- Assisting in keeping a clear and organised workspace.
- Light assembly work and finishing on products, such as stamping, swing tagging, belt loop making, riveting, small part edge finishing.
- If needed, supporting customer service team with stock checking boxing & labelling.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- Friendly attitude and positive team player.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
