McManus Pubs is looking for an entrepreneurial hospitality professional to become the Managing Partner of The Shipmans, one of Northampton's most exciting and distinctive hospitality venues.
This is not a salaried General Manager role.
This is an opportunity for someone with the drive, passion and commercial mindset to operate their own business, earn a percentage of the venue's income, and directly benefit from the success they create.
You bring the talent. We provide the venue, systems, support, marketing and infrastructure.

What You'll Be Responsible For
As Managing Partner, you'll have day-to-day control of the business, including:
- Building sales and profitability across all areas of the venue
- Leading, recruiting and developing a high-performing team
- Driving food, drink and event sales
- Growing private hire, weddings and corporate bookings
- Delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Creating exciting events, entertainment and promotional activity
- Managing stock, labour and operational standards
- Building strong local relationships and community engagement
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety and company procedures
Who We're Looking For
