Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will interact with clients and ensure their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided.
You will focus on looking after a portfolio of 200+ properties as well as Airbnb short let properties in which you will be cleaning the communal areas such as the living room, bathroom, stairs, hallways etc. as well as regular end of tenancy deep cleaning.
These properties are located in and around Weston-super-Mare and Nailsea.
Please note: this role requires you to travel between sites (ACCESS TO A CAR/MODE OF TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL)
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Perform deep cleans/end of tenancies/after builder cleans.
- Ensure all areas are free from clutter and well-organised.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their cleaning needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client queries and requests in a professional manner.
- Drive/Public transport to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Requirements
- A valid driving license & access to a vehicle is essential to facilitate travel between job sites. (REQUIRED)
- Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
