Job Title: Ofsted Registered (Home) Manager
The Medicare team is seeking a candidate who is currently working as a Deputy Manager in a Children’s Residential Home and is ready to take on greater responsibility , Registered Manager role. Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager in a relevant setting.

Line Manager
(Registered) Home Managers are generally managed by the Responsible Individual of the home where they are located.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operation of the care home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to resident individual needs.
- Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive team environment with effective leadership and management skills.
- Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Monitor quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of assisted living, nursing home services, and home care provisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to care delivery, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate resident care effectively.
- Lead staff recruitment, training programmes, and ongoing professional development initiatives to ensure team competency.
- Promote a culture centred on dignity, respect, and personalised care for all residents.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a care home setting specialising in nursing or senior care.
- Extensive knowledge of managing children care home whilst following Ofsted regulations to provide best care.
- Experience in developing comprehensive care plans and overseeing medication administration processes.
- Supervising or leadership experience within assisted living or home care environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to Ofsted registration and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of resident-centred care.
- Previous experience working with children whom have been supported in Ofsted regulated homes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a committed professional to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional standards of care within a regulated environment.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:
- Diploma Level 5 in Management / NVQ Level 5 Management
- Experience in working with children with trauma and loss.
- Experience of motivating others and improving services.
- General knowledge of how children develop and learn.
- Able to work with web base information/internet Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum 3 years working as an Ofsted RM.

Pay: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
