David Baarda Logistics is a well-established family-run chilled and frozen distribution company based in Newport, East Yorkshire, operating across the UK. Due to continued growth and fleet expansion, we are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team.

The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering chilled and frozen goods to customers across the UK
- Representing David Baarda Logistics in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are kept clean and presentable
- Complying with all driver hours, Tachograph, and road transport regulations
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and transport documentation
- Working flexibly to meet operational requirements

Shift Patterns Available
We currently operate a variety of shift patterns, including:
- 6 days on 2 days off 5 days on 1 day off
- we also offer weekend's only
Flexibility is essential, but we aim to work with our drivers to create schedules that suit both the business and individual needs.
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- Digital Tachograph card
- Full Driver CPC qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
- Recent UK Class 1 driving experience (within the last 6 months)
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
- Good attention to detail and paperwork accuracy
- Professional appearance and pride in vehicle care
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be aged 25+ (insurance requirements)
- Minor licence points may be considered
- Applicants must currently reside in the UK
