Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and replenished as needed
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures accurately
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness in all areas
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality
