Drum Teacher
Saturdays + Career Progression Opportunities
£18.00–£23.00 per hour | Employed Position | Paid Holiday | Regular Guaranteed Hours
Location: Anthem Music School, Manchester
Start Date: Summer 2026
Job Reference: 0076
Join One of Greater Manchester's Fastest Growing Music Schools
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and inspiring Drum Tutor to join the team at Anthem Music School.
This is much more than a Saturday teaching role. We're looking for someone who wants to become part of a growing music school where there are genuine opportunities to increase teaching hours, develop into leadership and, for the right person, build a long-term career with us.
Unlike many music teaching positions, this is an employed role offering paid holiday, company sick pay, regular guaranteed hours and a consistent weekly income.
Thanks to our small-group teaching model, your timetable is far more stable than traditional one-to-one tuition. Rather than losing income whenever an individual student is absent, you'll benefit from dependable weekly hours and excellent job security.
Current Working Hours
Saturdays: 10:00am – 1:50pm
As new students continue to join Anthem, we expect this timetable to expand to approximately: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Pay & Progression
Our tutors begin on £18.00 per hour and move through our structured pay scale as they grow and progress within the company, with opportunities to earn up to £23.00 per hour through experience, performance, training and increased responsibility.
Already have 2+ years' experience teaching small groups of children? Let us know in your application. Depending on your experience and skillset, you may be considered for a higher starting point within our pay scale.
We believe in recognising commitment, rewarding excellence and investing in people who want to build a long-term career with Anthem.
About Anthem Music School
Anthem Music School teaches hundreds of children every week across Greater Manchester through our exciting small-group music lessons.

Our students perform in exciting live showcases throughout the year, learn alongside friends and develop lifelong skills in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Our tutors are provided with structured lesson plans, teaching resources and ongoing training, allowing them to focus on delivering engaging, high-quality lessons rather than creating everything from scratch.
About the Role
You'll deliver fun, energetic and engaging small-group drum lessons to children aged 5+, helping students develop their musical ability, confidence and love of performing.
You'll follow Anthem's structured curriculum while bringing your own personality and enthusiasm into every lesson.
