We have a vacancy for a fully skilled H.G.V Fitter to work days in our small family run, friendly business. This role can be flexible within reason and is based around a working week of 40 hours. Rate £20.00- £22.00 p/h depending on experience. Overtime is available when required.
Minimum £45,000 per year
Typical duties include but not limited to:
- Undertake various aspects of HGV & LGV Inspection, general maintenance and repairs
- Trailer inspections and general repairs
- General servicing of various plant machinery
- MOT prep
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Brake testing
It is desirable but not essential that applicants hold a full UK driving license and a (C+E) and IRTEC accreditation but other types of experience will be considered.
