Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Barstaff to join our team, working across days, evenings, and weekends. Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in line with standard procedures
- Take orders and provide friendly, professional assistance to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote repeat visits
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash handling
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work across various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- A genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
