Site Labourer
- To £13.50 per hour dependent on skills and qualifications

- 40 hours per week
Based in Pool – working in either Penzance or Bodmin

Are you an experienced labourer looking for an exciting new role in a rapidly growing company? Do you hold a full UK driving licence and experienced in driving a 3.5T sized tipper to offer invaluable site support which includes collecting materials and plant from merchants and our stores and delivering them to/collecting them from site?
Key duties, skills and responsibilities:
- Collecting and unloading materials/tools/plant
- Site clearances and ensuring the site is always tidy
- The ability to work unsupervised and at a good pace
- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. This can involve heavy and/or awkward objects
- Basic construction site experience would be advantageous as the role will require supporting various trades on site.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to help complete assigned tasks within deadlines
- Other associated tasks typical with this role
- A valid full driving licence with experience driving a 3.5T tipper is essential.
- A CSCS card is desirable
A typical day might involve:
- Loading and unloading of material either into store or across the site. This will involve manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects.
- Builders’ cleans, basic groundworks, mixing mortar and plaster, site set up and other general duties as required to assist any of the various trades on site.
- Collecting materials and plant from suppliers and removal of waste from site for disposal.
This role is essential in supporting various projects and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
