Looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy and long-term stability? Join Amey's Ministry of Justice team as a Mobile Approved Electrician, supporting approximately six secure sites across the North West. You'll play a key role in keeping critical electrical systems safe, compliant and operational within the prison estate.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and reactive repairs across multiple prison sites.

Acting as the Responsible Person for electrical systems, ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance is maintained.

Undertaking Authorised Person duties, including isolations, permits to work and supervision of electrical works.

Reviewing EICRs, installation certificates and contractor documentation to ensure work meets required standards.

Providing technical electrical support to site teams, carrying out risk assessments and helping manage electrical compliance across your portfolio.

ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and AM2 are essential.

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (17th Edition considered with support to upgrade).

Qualify for Amey Electrical AP responsibilities.

Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations

Minimum 5 years' electrical experience, including inspection, testing and fault finding on commercial or industrial systems.

Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to sites across the account to provide support.
