Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 plus car/car allowance, credit card/milage, commission, phone, laptop, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, up to 22% pension, life assurance, healthcare, salary sacrifice scheme and 25 days holiday (excluding statutory days)
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding Water Hygiene division. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience in water hygiene, legionella control, or compliance services who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within key sectors including FM, healthcare, education, and commercial property

Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients

Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Promote a full range of water hygiene and legionella control services

Prepare and present tailored proposals to meet client compliance needs

Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
-
Proven track record in business development or sales within water hygiene, legionella control, or a related compliance field

Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

Able to pass an enhanced DBS

Strong understanding of ACOP L8, HSG274, and water hygiene regulations

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated region
