Job Specification:
- Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject (2:2 or above)
- Have strong Maths subject knowledge (GCSE A*-C or equivalent)
- Be passionate about supporting students with their learning
- Be able to keep students engaged and motivated
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable
- Have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities
- Be interested in pursuing a career within education
Key responsibilities within the role:
- Supporting students with their Maths development on an individual and group basis
- Providing support inside and outside the classroom to help students participate fully in learning
- Working alongside Maths teachers to provide additional classroom support
- Helping students develop confidence and overcome barriers to learning
- Maintaining high expectations and encouraging students to achieve their academic goals
