Local family run building firm is looking for a full time Experienced Bricklayer/General Builder to join their busy and growing team. Our projects are primarily domestic and tend to be within the local area but can be further afield.
As an Experienced Bricklayer/General Builder, you will be expected to manage the bricklaying element of projects, whether it's a renovation, extension or new build. You will have knowledge of groundworks and drainage, including setting out. You will also have experience in reading plans and will be able to understand and work to plans. You will be a team player, willing to turn your hand to anything in order to support other areas of projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant qualification in Bricklaying
- A minimum of 10 years' experience (including but not limited to working on extensions, renovations and structural works)
- Full UK driver’s Licence.

- Able to communicate with customers and sub-contractors
- Able to work as part of a team or independently
- Willing to carry out other duties as reasonably instructed by the Site Manager
- A firm understanding of site Health and Safety
- Willing to work with an apprentice
- Good time management
Benefits
- Salary Range £38,000-£50,000 (depending on level of experience)
- Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30, Fri – 08:00-13:00
