Utilities Supervisor /Auditor
North West and East Midlands
**3 Month Contract to Start**
ABS are an industry-leading and forward-thinking organisation, working within the Utilities Infrastructure sector. We pride ourselves on being specialists in everything we do and we have a big year planned for growth. We have some brand-new openings for a number of committed individuals who are looking for a role as a Supervisor to work across Utilities contracts.
The Role
As a Utilities Supervisor / Auditor you will be required to work alongside our large team ensuring they are working to the best and safest measures possible. From day one you will become an integral part of our busy team, no day is the same and you will have the opportunity to work on some of ABS’ key client contracts. Other Role responsibilities include:
- Auditing and Compliance
- Full supervision of Teams on Pre-Site work
- Support and audit Completion of work
- Driving Safety, Quality and performance
Our Ideal Candidate
The Utilities Supervisor and Auditor role requires you to work to tight deadlines and requires someone who isn’t afraid to take ownership of their work. To be successful you must enjoy being busy, out and about in different locations daily, have a strong eye for detail and approchable manner.
Other key attributes to ideally include:
- Strong exposure from working in a similar role within a Utilities Contract
- Strong understanding of Streetworks, Utilities and Operational Compliance
- Being able to work outdoors and not be phased by challenging environments such as bad weather conditions.
- Positive and flexible approach. Wiliness for daily travel
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop
- Exposure to software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer (Training will be provided)
- A clean driving license. (No previous convictions on your records)
- You will be required to have a DBS Completed for this role
