HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Grantham
Pay: £19.12 PAYE
Shifts: Nights and Weekends Available
Eclipse Recruitment Driving Solutions are currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to work for our long-established client, one of the UK's leading food distribution companies.
Class 1 Driver Role
- Nationwide RDC trunking work
- Modern refrigerated vehicles
- Typically 1-2 deliveries per shift
- Clean, straightforward work with minimal manual handling
- Mainly night shifts available Some odd days
Driver Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Drivers must have held their licence for at least 6 months to meet standard criteria
- New passes and less experienced drivers may be considered following a successful driving assessment
- Maximum 9 penalty points considered
- No serious motoring convictions such as DR, DD or CD offences unless specifically approved
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
Vehicles
You will be driving modern fleet vehicles, primarily Renault tractor units
