Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Burger & Pizza Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality burgers and pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a cohesive team environment
- Monitor food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in menu development and innovation to enhance customer experience
- Serve food to customers when required, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise waste through effective inventory control
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques for burgers and pizzas
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
- Excellent food safety awareness and adherence to hygiene standards
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
- Solid experience in food presentation, restaurant operations, and customer service
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule
Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
