Prior experience in the QSR/Retail segment is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)
1. MIS Reporting/Statutory ComplianceResponsible for handling MIS and various management reports.
Preparation and presentation of Monthly Profit & Loss (MIS) Reports at both Product Level and Company Level.
Provide Variance Analysis Reports comparing Actuals against Annual Budget or Monthly Forecasts for Management review.
Able to full fill Statutory compliance as per U.K Norms
2. Accounts Receivable
Control and monitor daily daybooks of stores.
Reconciliation of Counter and Bulk (Order/Corporate) Sales.
Reconciliation of Third-Party Sales (Home Delivery / Dine-in Partners).
Control and reconciliation of Payment Gateway, Credit Card, UPI, Coupon, and other tender modes.
Preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
3. Inventory Control
Maintain Item Master accuracy and hygiene in the system.
Control and monitor Bill of Material (BOM) updates.Supervise inventory receipts and issue transactions.
Ensure accurate costing of Finished Goods (FG) and Semi-Finished Goods (SFG).
4. General Ledger Accounting
Regularly monitor accounting across multiple Business Areas and Cost Centers, including Expense Payables and Prepaid Expenses.
Post accounting corrections and reclassification entries to ensure accurate books of accounts.
Prepare and post month-end journal entries (accruals, prepayments, etc.).
Conduct monthly/daily reconciliation of clearing ledgers and follow up on pending/unreconciled items.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial provisions within defined deadlines.
Conduct monthly variance analysis for MIS and investigate deviations beyond threshold limits.
Review, verify, and approve invoices; raise check requests and resolve invoice discrepancies.Ensure monthly physical stock/inventory verification.
5. Fixed Assets Accounting
Create CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) codes with appropriate budgets.
Coordinate with AP department for timely invoice collection and ensure compliance.
Manage end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting — from CWIP capitalization to furnishing details for Income Tax purposes, including monthly depreciation runs in SAP.
Ensure yearly and monthly renewal of Fixed Asset Insurance.Implement SOPs for CWIP code creation to prevent misuse.
Prepare Fixed Asset charts as per Companies Act and Income Tax Act of U.K on a monthly basis.
Handle asset splitting and combination for barcode management.
6. Accounts Payable
Sound understanding and execution of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in ERP environment.
Monitor and control all clearing and control accounts related to Accounts Payable.
Oversee material movement through RGP (Returnable Gate Pass) and NRGP (Non-Returnable Gate Pass).
Conduct periodic TDS reconciliation and timely correction of deviations with validation checks to prevent recurrence.
7. Statutory & Tax Audit / Balance Sheet Finalization
Coordinate and organize year-end audit activities and prepare supporting schedules.
Act as Audit Coordinator to ensure timely completion of audits.
Prepare and furnish audit details, including GL and Fixed Assets schedules, as per the auditors’ requirement checklist.
8. Other Responsibilities
Liaison with Banks for renewals, documentation, and compliance requirements.
