Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all drinks are made to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and customer area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing any special requests or dietary needs
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as pastry or snack assembly when required
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
