Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Pharmacy Manager in the Southern Region of the UK, to oversee operations within our designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service delivery across Pharmacies in our South region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader to contribute to organisational growth and success.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities across multiple teams within the area, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise productivity and service quality.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members through effective management practices, fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyse data, and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
- Manage resource allocation, including staffing levels and equipment, to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and health & safety regulations across all sites within the area.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Regular visits to all branches within the area, so the means for commuting and travel between the branches.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a managerial or leadership role within the healthcare industry or a similar industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated managerial qualities, including excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Organised with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to handle complex operational challenges.
- Relevant qualifications or training in management or business administration are desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of performance.
