SEND Teacher - Acorns School, Hibbert Lane, Marple, Stockport, SK6 7NN
Salary: £28,288 - £44,304 | Full Time (40 hours/week)
Purpose of Role
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will model professional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, supporting small groups and individual students across a range of subjects within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports

Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn

Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
Requirement

A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
-
At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
-
QTS/QTLS is a requirement
