Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a genuine desire to improve the lives of those in their care. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care to clients in accordance with established care plans, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive relationships.
- Support clients with household tasks including light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in line with organisational policies.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care needs.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for all.
Requirements
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is desirable.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised support strategies.
- Good command of English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to delivering respectful, person-centred care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From £13.25 per hour
