Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health and nursing, with the ability to educate others on various health-related topics. This role involves developing and delivering training programmes aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of participants in the field of public health. The Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all training materials are accurate, engaging, and relevant to current medical practices.
Duties
- Conduct training sessions on HASWA, LOLER, PUWER etc, ensuring participants understand key concepts and duties.
- Utilise effective public speaking skills to engage and motivate participants during training sessions.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and evaluations, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in public health to ensure training content remains current and applicable.
Experience
- A background as a Plant operator or as a HSEQ in the construction sector is essential for this role.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
- Strong understanding of HASWA, LOLER, PUWER. is required to effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Proven experience in educating or training individuals or groups is highly desirable but not essential
- CPCS, NPORS, LANTRA Instructor qualification desirable
