Permanent, Part time, Term time, 15 hours per week, 45.8 weeks.
We are seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team at Crags Community School in Maltby. This is a permanent, term-time only position working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during the lunchtime period.
About the Role
As part of our busy school catering team, you will play an important role in providing high-quality meals to pupils and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment. It is a rewarding role that fits around school hours.
The main duties include -
- Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
- Supporting the delivery of an efficient and fast-paced catering service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
- Cleaning food preparation areas, kitchens and associated spaces to the required standards.
- Working as part of a dedicated team.

A Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is desirable; however, training will be available for the right candidate who is willing to achieve this qualification.
