The key roles of a CCTV operator are
- Monitor a range of systems varying from CCTV to Intruder alarms, Fire Alarms or Personal Attack Alarms, with a large focus on the safety and protection of the customer
- Answer telephones and intercoms in line with strict white sheets
- Deal with access control
- Complete incident, non-compliance and fault reports
- Communicate issues accordingly to necessary IT Support / On Call Engineers
- Build a rapport with frequent customers to ensure a high level of trust
- Maintain SIA / NSI standards throughout entire employment
Hours,
This role will operate on a 4 x 12hr shifts, 4 off basis with the expectation to rotate between days and nights. On average, this works out at 42hrs per week.
Holiday cover over the year would be considered a reasonable expectation to ensure the ARC remains compliant at all times
Salary,
The pay for this role is £13.19 per hour
Role Requirements,
- Good to excellent computer literacy
- Great customer service skills and polite, friendly phone manner
- Punctual and well presented
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
