The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the Residential Property team, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Deliver outstanding client service, ensuring efficient transactions and clear communication throughout
- Supervise and mentor junior team members and support staff
- Contribute to business development initiatives, networking and marketing activities
- Maintain compliance with SRA regulations, risk management procedures, and best practice standards
- Achieve agreed billing targets and support wider team performance
- Stay current with legal developments and market trends
About You: Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 4 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing (essential)
- Strong UK private practice experience handling a full conveyancing caseload independently
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality client care and build lasting relationships
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff (desirable)
- Excellent IT skills, including case management systems and legal software
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commercial mindset
