Senior Vehicle Technician
Location: Chipping Warden, Oxfordshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 or 08:30-17:00
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a large, well-established automotive operation in the Banbury area. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, high-volume environment, supporting both technical delivery and the development of junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer and industry standards
- Identify the root cause of faults across mechanical and electrical systems
- Complete all work efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Assess vehicles for any additional safety or service requirements
- Accurately document all work carried out and recommendations made
- Support and mentor junior technicians to help drive team performance
- Assist with maintaining workshop efficiency and productivity targets
Skills & Experience:
- Master Technician or highest-level manufacturer qualifications
- Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven experience working to manufacturer standards and warranty procedures
- Ability to produce clear, accurate job reports
- Confident mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
