Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. Duties
- Conduct assessments of clients’ needs and develop personalised support plans
- Provide counselling and emotional support to individuals and families facing various challenges
- Coordinate with external agencies and organisations to facilitate access to resources such as housing, healthcare, and education
- Supervise junior staff or volunteers, ensuring quality service delivery
- Mentor clients to promote independence and resilience
- Maintain accurate case records in compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements
- Advocate on behalf of clients to secure necessary services and support
- Organise community outreach programmes and educational workshops
- Monitor progress of clients, adjusting support strategies as needed
Requirements
- recognised qualification in Social Work or equivalent professional accreditation
- Supervising experience or mentoring skills are highly desirable
- Proven ability to build rapport with diverse client groups
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to client wellbeing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
