Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater/General Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, applying powder coatings to various products, and supporting general operational tasks. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
- Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent application of coatings
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, and minor repairs of equipment and products
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or trolleys
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Perform routine inspections of coated products to ensure quality standards are met
Experience
- Previous experience in powder coating or wet painting is essential
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required
- Knowledge of warehouse operations or logistics can be an asset
