Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Brunch Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality brunch dishes in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of brunch dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
- Supervise kitchen staff during brunch service, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage of ingredients
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest service
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the kitchen environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary hygiene
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods
- Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee food production and maintain high standards under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with team members and front-of-house personnel
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Serving experience is advantageous, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
