Are you an experienced and motivated children's residential support worker?
Then we at Happyhomes would love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for a number of caring and passionate individuals for our 2 bed residential children's home in Bradford to join our Bank team with the potential of becoming permanent.
We are a small company who aim to make a difference to the children and young people in the care system. Our home provides 24/7 care for up to two young people facing a variety of challenges and needs, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who are ready to strive to be the best.
Prior experience within a children's home is preferred although not essential and we have a robust induction and training programme in place to equip you with the knowledge, skills and the confidence to thrive in your role, enabling you to provide the highest level of care to the young people in our care. You will be supported at every step of the way.
All new employees will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme and an ongoing training package.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary (Up to £34,315 FTE) as well as a £100 joining bonus paid directly into your account, as well as performance-based bonuses.

Person specification:
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative (Essential)
- Prior experience within a children's home (Preferred)
- Awareness of child protection and safeguarding
- A caring and empathetic approach to working with children
- Commitment to undergo mandatory induction and ongoing training
- To be able to work unsociable hours including weekends, sleep & waking nights as required
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Full UK driving license preferred but not essential
