The Assistant Café Enabler’s job is to support the Café Enabler and to work with young people with additional support needs. To learn how to support students training in the café,and serve members of the public.
Cantraybridge’s mission is ‘to support young people to fulfil their potential’. Most of our students have a learning disability and/or autism.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Working within a small team to provide cover when other staff are absent/on leave.
To abide by Food Hygiene Regulations
To prepare, cook and serve food and beverages to Students and staff at Cantraybridge and members of the public.
To ensure that high levels of cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen/café area.
When required, prepare meals, beverages and snack for visitors.
Formulating strong, constructive relationships with students and customers.
Delivering programmes of activities as directed by our funders and stakeholders.
To work on and off site at events, trade fairs and community events during evenings and weekends when required.
To identify the health and safety risks and issues and to be responsible for the area you work in.
To work with volunteers.
To assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the café facilities
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £13.52 per hour
