Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Kitchen staff member to join our team on a permanent basis. Preference will be given to female candidates. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support catering services for events and functions, adhering to specified menus and timings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Help with meal assembly, plating, and serving as required
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies, monitoring stock levels
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and contamination
- Support the team in general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene protocols
