Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an International, Leeds City Centre based organisation, to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The organisation is going through an exciting period of growth and the new Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in the company’s continuing development following recent PE investment. They are seeking a Chartered Accountant who can commit to 2/3 days an week in their modern, Leeds City Centre offices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the leadership team and board
- Oversee consolidation of group accounts including international accounts
- Maintain strong internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.
- Oversee compliance with statutory, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits Cashflow & Treasury Management
The person:
- Chartered Accountant
- Experience working for an international organisation is essential
- Be a strong Manager who can motivate and direct the team (multiple direct reports)
