Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Kerb Layers to join my clients civils team on a temporary basis. YOU MUST TRIEF KERB LAYING EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will be working in Oxfordshire and will be responsible for laying heavy duty kerbs with precision and efficiency, ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the process. The hourly rate will be £28ph paid on a CIS basis
Responsibilities
- Trief kerbs laying according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Prepare the work site by setting out kerb lines and ensuring proper alignment
- Operate machinery and tools required for kerb installation, maintaining them in good condition
- Assist with site maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Manage materials and ensure proper storage and handling on-site
- Conduct routine inspections of kerb work for quality assurance and compliance with standards
- Drive company vehicles as needed for transporting materials or equipment
Qualifications
- Blue Skilled CSCS Card
- Thames Water passport (Beneficial)
- Strong management skills to oversee tasks and coordinate with team members
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for tools and machinery used in kerb installation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in kerb placement
