Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Live-In Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred support within an individual's home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life by promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Duties:
- Prompt and supervise the client with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with care plans and company policies.
- Prepare and serve meals in line with the individual's dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
- Accurately document care provided and report any concerns or changes in the client's condition.
- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and organisational policies at all times.
- Promote dignity, choice, privacy, and independence in all aspects of care.
- Support the individual to access activities and maintain daily routines where appropriate.
Must have:
- Weekend Availability
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is preferred
- Basic IT and writing skills to document client information accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
