Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil/ Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing projects across various sectors, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative infrastructure developments while utilising advanced engineering tools and techniques.
This role could suit young engineers with 2-4 years post grad experience or a more experienced candidate .
Either way it has the potential for long term development and possibly shareholding for the right candidate .
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Civil/Structural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Site 3D and Tella Tedds and Structural Designer .
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure stability and safety of designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for construction purposes.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Utilise project management skills to plan timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Collaborate with system design teams to integrate structural components within larger engineering frameworks.
- Review and approve shop drawings and material submissions from contractors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in structural engineering within civil or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, TEKLA Tedds Structural designer NBS Chorus programmes.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles and construction processes.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering .
- Additional skills such as experience with draiange modelling design are desirable .
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
