Trundley Group is a well-established, family-run design and construction business based in Norfolk. As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our friendly and hardworking team.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter who takes pride in their workmanship and can work confidently across a variety of construction projects. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of first and second fix carpentry tasks, working as part of our site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Work would be up to an hour from Kings Lynn. Any further would be optional and paid accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry works to a high standard.
- Read and work from drawings, specifications and site instructions.
- Install timber structures, doors, frames, skirting, architraves, kitchens, roofs, cladding and other carpentry elements as required.
- Ideally but not essential other tasks around carpentry: basic plumbing, small brickwork, metal stud/MF, metalwork, fencing, small plastering & decoration
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a wider construction team.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
- Support site managers and colleagues to help deliver projects on time, within budget and to the expected quality.
About You
- Previous experience as a Carpenter within construction is essential.
- Strong knowledge of first and second fix carpentry.
- Ability to work from drawings and follow instructions accurately.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- CSCS card preferred.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
