Role Overview
The Last Judgment is looking for a skilled, passionate, and organised Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining exceptional kitchen standards, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.
This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent hygiene standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
· Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
· Ensure consistency, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained at all times
· Support the senior kitchen team during busy service periods
· Assist with food preparation and mise en place for service
· Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained correctly
Food Safety & Compliance
· Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
· Follow and uphold HACCP procedures and company food safety policies
· Ensure compliance with Environmental Health Officer (EHO) standards and legal regulations
· Hold or work towards Food Safety Level 2 or 3 certification
· Complete daily temperature checks, cleaning schedules, and due diligence paperwork accurately
Menu Development & Organisation
· Assist with menu writing, seasonal menu changes, and daily specials
· Contribute ideas for new dishes and improvements to menu offerings
· Maintain clear prep lists and kitchen checklists
· Ensure stock rotation and food labelling procedures are followed correctly
Cleanliness & Maintenance
· Maintain day-to-day cleanliness across all kitchen sections
· Ensure cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard
· Keep workstations organised, clean, and fully stocked throughout service
· Assist with deep cleaning and end-of-shift cleaning procedures
Teamwork & Communication
· Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team
· Support junior chefs and kitchen porters when required
· Maintain positive communication between kitchen and front of house teams
· Help create a professional, motivated, and team-focused kitchen environment
Requirements
· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
· Experience working in a fast-paced professional kitchen
· Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene standards
· Food Safety Level 2 or 3 qualification preferred
· Good organisational and time management skills
· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
· Passion for fresh food and quality service
· Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay: £32,500.00-£37,500.00 per year
